Bachelor thesis report 19
2010-11-09 17:55:37
Welcome back to the current Bachelor labor report today for a change a couple of hours earlier. This will probably be the fourth-last, as I work on 6 December must submit latest. The border but actually for a new schedule. But first there is a general status report.
Finished stuff
In the last few days I have presented to four or five pages (including some pictures) as two weeks ago indicated a detailed teachlet expiration. That should help with the first reading, particularly teachlet newcomers in getting an idea of the concept. This point of the list is thus ticked off.
The typical role of the class diagram in teachlet I now have better explained, in the section on the average teachlet. There, the results in my eyes the most sense, since the development of class diagrams on the blackboard is not a teachlet rule and has nothing to do with the definition is, but rather a tradition from the teachlet workshop.
Also, I've thought of an example of a teachlet that does not require the base system. I described how a teachlet could look to the observer pattern in which a system in BlueJ is designed from the ground. The examples are cameras that can automatically follow a football - the idea I found quite amusing. To grab the code in the appendix, I could now use but again my experience with listings and PDF file attachments in LaTeX.
As for stylistic and details: Axel had noted a few phrases that were not succeeded so well that I have now corrected. In the glossary I had forgotten the "code inspection", the term is now also explained. I also have solved an old problem that I, I think, long ago mentioned here before: In my big chart, the surfaces differ only by color so far, what this is in black/white make it completely incomprehensible. Therefore I have introduced lines in addition to the color shading, which hopefully makes in a grayscale world to distinguish between the categories. For people with color blindness, which is intended not entirely wrong either. By the way, was the with Inkscape (significantly!) more work than I would have found. Here's Inkscape hackers who know this a path that takes less than two hours?
The document as a whole has grown to 56 pages at 820 KB proud.
Remaining four weeks, which is pending?
I still have to find out if my cover sheet contains all relevant information and meets the formal requirements. I think there are not that the final document - the test procedure called well data that has to stand upon, and there are guidelines for term papers of SWT, which also say something to it. I have to consolidate in the near future times.
Of the many substantive points I have just one on my list:
- Teachlet related methods to describe: at the end of the work are some key points as assessed for teachlet indispensable. Maybe can be derived ideas for teachlet-like practices find that I could illuminate briefly. This should probably be possible, even if I will write to probably not more than one page - is actually somehow not longer part of my subject. But we'll see.
This could again lead to a few pages of text. I hope I can write the time and still get feedback on it.
A new timetable
Immediately before the due date, I have fortunately not otherwise many special tasks in any courses. That I should give sufficient opportunity to be kept clear in recent days some slack. On the detailed proof-reading I am sorry to leave may waive, but according to my Axel text is linguistically and largely unproblematic. Okay, since I pay attention when writing even more on snacks than for a journal such as this.
Dare we even attempt a timeline for the past month:
- From now until around 20 November: outstanding paperwork
- Then to 30 November: Feedback from Axel and any other interested
- 1 to 5 December: Slack, printing and binding
- 6 December: Submission of thesis
It sounds to me quite feasible. Although I have to pull together again now, but the bachelor is a not easy gift.
Outlook
Next week at this time I sign back with the rest of the state of the work I've done so far. I myself am curious to see how well it works. Who wants to have a final end of the month in order to pre-release feedback can, feel free to contact right now and will be considered. Otherwise, until next Tuesday!
