Bachelor thesis report 16

Welcome back to the sixteenth report on my final paper. Today I take myself again comparatively short. I tell you about the results of the feedback phase (or rather the absence of results) and the repetition of my presentation.

Getting feedback

It's always great to get constructive feedback for their work. Before, I was, like many other, more impervious to criticism of my projects. This has now changed, I'm happy about every suggestion. It is noticeable that it is not so easy to get feedback. On the contrary, I pray constantly for feedback and get only very rarely useful info. So unfortunately even with my bachelor's thesis.

I have written a good number of people and asked for feedback on a preliminary version of my work. Reported to have a person like this writing, two in person. The result for me, the correction of a single grammatical error as well as noting the blurred impression of a reader, the text is the whole was too short (for a Bachelor's thesis, seemed to be the unspoken addendum). Substantive comments were not there.

Brought me thus has less than hoped for. After all, it has proved to be the right decision, with feedback from Axel not to wait until now. That way, even though I get "only" Friday - he has read the work well already, but until Friday, a meeting place in time. It is the beginning of the semester, this is for a busy teacher not a little stressful for me - I will resent him accordingly not at all. However, it leaves me in shaping the vision of an iterative approach with short feedback cycles, but strongly doubt. Right now I have no idea what will emerge on Friday, at the interview and if I write a lot must be in the next few weeks. Frankly, I hope that there is very limited because I have this semester to prepare a whole chunk of seminar presentations (I just counted a total of five). We'll see.

Report: Round 2

To SWT seminar I can not go this semester because of parallel events, but it will there at 2 November still hold times my talk in a somewhat more detailed form. If you missed the first and would like to hear: That will probably be the last chance.

The seminar takes place on Tuesdays at 4pm in D-220 at the Informatikum. I would be grateful for many visitors this time too!

Outlook

Next Tuesday it is - finally - the result of feedback from Axel to read here. I know, I promise it for weeks. But I do not see how it should go wrong this time yet. From the nature and extent of the feedback will then result in further planning. See you then!
